This sounds like an interesting book. I read an article 2 years ago that stated that in the society, the total risk is shared by:
1 government
2 companies/employers
3 individuals/families
The portion of the risk going to individuals/families, in the 2000s decade, is at the highest level it has been since the Great Depression in the 1930s.
This book apparently examines this topic.

FISA, The Rule of Law, & the Pres election
Olbermann ethers WOAT Bush on FISA.
Props to Olbermann, 1 of the few MSM commentators that understands, respects, & defends the Constitution & the Rule of Law.
Glen Greenwald explains FISA here.
BTW, per Glenn Greenwald, Obama followed the ACTUAL REAL THOUGHT LEADERS in the Senate like DODD & FEINGOLD, in voting against immunity for the telecom companies' illegal spying.
What about the self-proclaimed leader H Clinton? 1 of 2 douche Senators that did not bother to vote!
McCain? Even worse, McCain voted for telecom immunity.
"The Choice is Yours" (c) Black Sheep, but IMHO it's a no brainer:
Obama >> H Clinton >> McCain
Obama, you get "Props Over Here" (c) The Beatnuts

David Sirota & Lou Dobbs on trade policy
Fock a wack album by Joe Camel & the 40 yo Pedophile Pied Piper! Here's a Best Of Both Worlds worth a damn!
A discussion of trade, from 2 of the few MSM commentators that actually make some insightful logical points, David Sirota & Lou Dobbs.
This David Sirota guy might be the 1st decent MSM commentator of our generation. Sirota talks about
1 myths on free trade & American employee shortage, & how this is Corporate Welfare at the expense of the American worker, ala Paul Craig Roberts or Thom Hartmann
2 the priorities of the War on Terrorism is fugazi, with the WOAT Dubbz focusing on Iraq which has nothing to do with terrorism, as opposed to securing loose nuclear material in ex-USSR countries, & actually capturing/killing Al Qaeda leaders like Bin Laden (who supposedly is chillin in remote Pakistan).
Hey Obama or H Clinton, pls steal some talking points from an actual thought leader like Sirota!
